Through knowledge and understanding this vicious cycle can be broken therefore I work very hard on this site to, hopefully, bring about at least a glimmer of light, hope and acceptance.
The first is the killing of wolves in Alaska from planes for so called sport.
What is sporting about shooting an animal from a plane that can go 200 miles an hour. If they continue to Kill the wolf in Alaska the damage to the eco-system will become devastating. The wolf only kills the weak and the sick. When they aren't available they live on the rodent population which can be so destructive if not kept in check and it goes on up the line until even the largest of the food chain don't have enough food to sustain the population and they all become weak and susceptible to disease and harsh winters.
The second concerns the Northern Florida Spring system.
Please help us protect our natural resources from those who would destroy our natural spring system in Northern Florida.
Anytime that there is wanton destruction of Mother Earth it should be a concern of us all. Here in the Nothern Florida area there is a company that is ruining the natural spring system. We are trying to stop them as they are hurting so many people and destroying habitat. These spring fed lakes have been the life blood of this area for hundreds of years.You can read more or help by signing petitions on the site I have created.
